"Black Hole" REVIEW

"Black Hole," a 2008 short film directed by Philip Sansom and Olly Williams as part of the Future Shorts program, is a captivating and visually striking work of art that delves into the concept of the unknown and the existential questions it raises.

The Black Hole features a lone astronaut who finds himself drifting through space, heading towards a mysterious black hole. This premise sets the stage for a visual and emotional journey that transcends traditional storytelling.

One of the most remarkable aspects of "Black Hole" is its exceptional visual effects. The film creates a stunning and immersive depiction of space, capturing the vastness and emptiness of the cosmos. The use of color, light, and sound adds to the film's overall impact, immersing the audience in an otherworldly experience.

The film's musical score is a crucial. The music is both haunting and beautiful, underscoring the astronaut's sense of isolation and vulnerability. It intensifies the viewer's connection with the character, despite the absence of any spoken words.

In the end we see the astronaut tries to explores the food machine through the black hole through which he finds an chocolate. But next he gets an idea to explore the safety locker were he finds money and then he grabs more and more money from it. But when he tries to get inside the locker the Black Hole falls off and he's locked up in the safety locker.

Well in my opinion black hole's ⚫️ are very scary. You can't look at them for more than a minute it feels like the are just gonna pull you inside. I'm not gonna explore a black hole if I get a chance. Just gonna say 'adios'.

In conclusion, "Black Hole" is a mesmerizing short film that excels in its use of visual storytelling. It challenges viewers to contemplate the unknown and their place in the universe, making it a cinematic experience.
